Little girl is more like a little alive doll. They could dress with many cute and beautiful dresses. Besides that, we can also prettify them with many kinds of sparkling accessories that impossible to do with our handsome son. Hence, having a little cute daughter is the best part of your life. If your son only needs a shirt and pants in their relaxed time, than you have a huge choice of girls clothing for your daughter. However, fashion always running time by time. We could not let our daughter wear an old muddy sweater in the winter, or a sparkling tacky dress in their birthday party. Therefore, you have to run with the fashion and give the best cloths for your lovely little girl.

Girls clothing has a similar characteristic with woman clothing. They are divide into casual, formal, sporty, girly, dress, and soon. Girls clothing can be more cheerful and colorful than women’s. They also made in many cute and beautiful design, which can make your daughter fell prettier without override their comfortable. There are several categories of girls clothing, such as dress, legging, tops, pajamas, skirts/shorts, pants, outerwear, jacket, and many more. Those are the girls clothing excluding accessories. If you are really concern with your daughter fashion you also need to collect the accessories such as hat, bracelet, headband, tweezers, ribbon, earrings, and soon. That is a lot item to purchase. Some mothers love to shopping with their daughter and find their favorite item to buy. However, some of them are to busy to go to mall and spent much hours to shop. Hence, you could shop at your home through an online store. You can do that after dinner after your daughter finish their homework. Guess it can be a perfect price from them to shopping in the internet after they finished their assignment.

Each and every kid is aware of Dora the Explorer and her mind blowing adventures with her friends. This is a familiar program that is aired on Nickelodeon and offers a lot of moral lessons to the kids. If you little girl is addicted to Dora and her friends why not fulfill her wish by having a Dora the Explorer theme for her birthday? Start by designing or purchasing the Dora birthday invitations.

Purchasing Dora birthday party invitations is an appropriate option for people who have hectic work schedules and may have to juggle their time with the kids and their work. You can select from a lot of Dora themes, backgrounds and colors and even have the invitations personalized with the photo of your kid.

People looking at making their very own kids birthday party invitations can add different accessories and craft items to the invitations. You can easily purchase stationery and supplies such as plain or colored cardstocks, glitter pens, ribbons, laces, flowers and many more to decorate the borders of the invitations. Making homemade invitations will not only save you on money, but even your kid and the guests will appreciate your effort.

A cool option available for making unique invites is to design the invitations in the shape of a passport. If you have a scanner, you can easily scan your outside of your passport, cutting the bare edges and sticking stickers of Dora or her friends. Wordings can be like “This is your passport to a fun loving adventure with Dora the Explorer birthday with (your child’s name) and her friends!”

Apart from this, you can even make maps from brown colored parchment paper and draw familiar landmarks about your neighborhoods leading to the party venue. To give the Dora birthday invitations a more adventurous look, you can mark the part venue with an ‘X’ and have wordings such as “Follow the trail and join us for (your child’s name) Dora the Explorer Birthday Bash!”. The invitation can then be tied with ribbons and sent in a bottle with a name tag of the guest attached to it.

Another fun filling ideas for the Dora birthday party invitations can include sending out a Dora coloring book with the party details like the date, venue and time written on the inside of the book. These books will not only serve as invitations but will also act as great giveaways for the kids. Along with the invitations you can even send small Dora or Boot key chains or dolls.

No matter how you make the kids birthday party invitations, you might need to remember to mail the invitations a few weeks before the main birthday party so that the guests can make the necessary arrangements for attending the party. Make sure you mention the RSVP date so that you can know the exact head count for the party.

Your kid will definitely like these unique Dora birthday invitations and will proudly show them off to their friends in the neighborhood and in school. You might even want to take the help of your friends and relatives in order to create beautiful and attractive birthday invitations for the guests.

Come on an adventure with Dora and Diego and make your kids birthday party invitations more exciting. At birthdayparty-invitations.com we have a great range of personalized Dora birthday invitations.

Easter egg hunts don’t just happen over night as most people would believe, and a lot of people believe that because boiling an egg just doesn’t take that long. In truth the time honored tradition of boiling and then decorating Easter eggs has pretty much been replaced because of the vast variety of pre-decorated and pre-filled eggs that are out in masses in stores and online.

Despite all this convenience Easter egg hunts are hard to plan because while there are all kinds of store packed Easter gifts for adults the children’s editions are rather limited and have mostly candy and/ or chocolate.

While candy and chocolate are a somewhat important part of Easter, there’s still the problem of how much candy and chocolate can one possibly fit in the Easter eggs while guaranteeing that the kids don’t over indulge on chocolate. A lot of people come up with the idea of putting things like school supplies in Easter baskets for kids or filling them with reward notes. For those of you who don’t know, reward notes are when you make a coupon to do a chore for your kid.

Although the idea is original, there’s the question of how popular will it be over chocolate and candy? The chances that the kids hold the Easter bunny hostage and ask for the real chocolate Easter eggs are higher. Apart from the ever difficult decision of what to put in Easter eggs there is the question of where to hide the Easter eggs. Although the idea of kids having fun looking for Easter eggs to fill their Easter baskets sounds good on paper, there is the question that every neighborhood must answer, ‘Whose backyard will the kids ransack while they hunt for Easter eggs?’

The easy way to select a backyard would be draw straws but there is always the option of using the local park or sometimes the local church can provide a place to host the East egg hunt. These places are better because there’re more places to hide the eggs and much more area for the kids to run around and work off some of the sugar hyped energy. The parents can easily come together to supervise the event. Then there’s the whole ‘what do I put inside my ten year old’s Easter basket?’ Only you know how hard it is to excite your kids about Easter and get them to go the Easter hunt as they grow older and the Easter bunny losses credibility so it’s important that whatever you put inside the eggs it’s worth their search.

This is actually the real challenge because on the one hand you want to keep their sugar level to a point where they aren’t bouncing off the walls while knowing that chocolate is the only thing that will make them happy. An easy way to do this is to hide ’some’ chocolate in all the Easter eggs and fill the rest with small things that kids like in general like little toys. At the end of the Easter hunt, give them a special treat at Easter lunch like a fruit bouquet that they can dig into.

Fruit bouquets come with the fruit dipped in chocolate so that the chocolate side is covered and you can rest assured that your carefully looked after backyard is intact and the kids are eating healthy this Easter.

I’m the happy mother of three kids aged 8 years, 5 years and 18 months and as my kids are growing I’m facing new challenges in parenting everyday. I know I only get though the toughest mom challenges because of the great support group I have, my family and my friends and my wonderful neighborhood community of super moms. I’m here to share with you how I get through every challenge in my life as i continue to try and provide the best for my children.

Kids, teenagers and adults, all hope to throw the best party in the neighborhood. Most friends have common interests and same things fascinating them. We all have heard about the Twilight series of books and movie adaptations by Stephanie Meyer. It is the amazing love story of a high school human girl Bella and her super handsome vampire boy friend Edward, filled with equal romance and action. If all you friends are super crazy about Twilight do not look back to make your birthday, Halloween party or your high school, college party into a Twilight theme based party. Your friends will just love it, trust me.

How do you plan to invite your friends for this theme party? Send out personalized Twilight banners and invitations in red with a small plastic fang. Your guests can wear them for the party and also dress up like their favorite Twilight character. It will be appropriate to have this Twilight theme party after dusk, as that is the time vampires come alive.

The invites are out, all arrangements are done, and the D day has arrived. One interesting thing to do is to fill your house with strong room fresheners. Vampires get attracted by scents and we all know that Edward loves Bella’s scent. Have dim red and white lights illuminate the party house. Have the Twilight sound track playing at a low volume or as an extension, you can also play the movie DVD. Make this a low key attraction, as you may also have some better attractions for your guests.

Decorate your house like in a fete with red stealing the show everywhere. Have life size posters of Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner adorning your walls. Guys will drool over Bella beauty and girls go head over heels for one smile of Edward. It would deeply please your Twilight crazy friends to see their favorites gazing at them from all sides. Place placards around the party area with your favorite Twilight quotes. As an extreme step, you can have the party outdoors amidst trees to symbolically resemble the Cullens house set deep in the forest.

We have seen women being overly possessive and cautious with their precious dinner sets and cutlery. Now it is the turn of Twilight crazy kids and teens to start boasting about their dinner sets. There are Twilight lunch, dinner plates, dessert plates, hot and cold cups all having your adorable stars smiling at you. The extreme case is to have Twilight napkins.

Speaking about cutlery cannot satisfy your appetite. The next best attraction you can offer your guests is awesome food. Red juices, red wine, red velvet cakes, lots of apple juice wow taste buds are dripping. Italian cuisine is the obvious choice as that’s what the Cullens cook for Bella. For those die hard fans make mushroom ravioli, Bella’s choice on her first dinner with Edward in Port Angeles.

Party giveaways stay in the memory of guests for years. Twilight fans would love Twilight key chains with pictures of the star cast, twilight candy jars, votives, hand bags, purses, notebooks, etc. If your purse permits you can also give away Twilight movie DVDs and the books. Your friends would love your party totally and popularize it in the whole neighborhood.

What are you waiting for? Grab any approaching opportunity and have a blast with your Twilighted friends.

If you are hosting a Twilight party and looking for Twilight party favors and Twilight party supplies, E-WeddingFavors.com has the biggest selection of unique Twilight party favors, supplies and much more. These products are one of a kind and are all at a very affordable prices at or around $1 or $2.

Moving into a new home is exciting and fun. It may not be new, but it is definitely new to you, and the excitement builds as the moving date gets closer.

Some of the fun is planning the décor, yes even dreaming of colour swatches and decorator themes. Of course there are some down sides, like all that packing (my God, where did all this stuff come from) and leaving your old neighborhood with teary goodbyes.

Well we can’t do much about all those boxes, but the teary goodbyes are not at all necessary because ‘you are going to have a housewarming party’! It is tradition, you really should do it! It is good etiquette. It tells the friends you left behind, that they are not forgotten and are welcome at your new home and it introduces you and your family to your new neighbors. If your new neighborhood is like the one we moved into about a year ago, it will also give your new neighbors a chance to meet each other.

Now how do you think that this tradition came about? It is practiced globally and is said to have originated in several different cultures. It is impossible to know the true origin, as it reaches far back into history. It is even said that cavemen started it when someone moved into a new cave. They would bring coals from their fire to start the fire in the new cave. I’m sure this couldn’t have happened too often, I mean, how many new caves were there?

Russia is the country most mentioned as the originator of the housewarming. The story goes that a Russian couple presented bread and salt to a dignitary passing through their town, and a tradition was born. Many other countries and regions, like Germany, Eastern Europe and India have stories as well and the traditional housewarming gifts all have meaning.

Bread-so you will never be hungry,

Salt-(sprinkled at each door entrance) to ward off evil and to bring good luck. Also to give life savor,

Honey or Sugar-for a sweet life in your new home,

Rice-for fertility (you might want to think twice about this one in case it works)

Hot embers-(I can’t imagine giving this one, I mean, how do you wrap it?)

Broom-to sweep away any evil,

Candle-so you will always have light,

Wine-for thirst,

Olive Oil-for health, and last but not least a

Plant-for long life (long living and healthy, it would not be a good sign if the plant died)

Today, giving a broom might be looked upon as a bit chintzy, but you can still stay with tradition by elaborating on one of the above. For example, how about a nice decanter for the olive oil, already filled or salt and pepper shakers also filled? It is also nice to include something that explains the meaning of the gift.

Who ever initiated the tradition, caveman (woman) or other, gets kudos from me. I can’t think of a better way to warm my house than with a gathering of old friends and possibly new ones.

Treasure hunts are a blast, we all know that, right? They’re a great way to have fun with our kids. But how about getting the neighbors involved and helping you and your children develop new relationships and stronger ties in the community? Let’s talk a little about ways to do this through treasure hunts

Pass out a few fliers in your neighborhood. Even if you know your neighbors well enough, it helps to have something on paper that they can look at; easier to remember that way. Going door-to-door is probably the best route. Talk to them and see if they want to get involved with some of the planning. From my experience, I’ve always been surprised to find that many neighbors actually DO want to get involved in community activities; they just need someone to lead the way, it seems. You may find a few really creative friends on your street that will astonish you.

So the fliers are out and you have parents and neighbors involved. Invite them over to your house on a nice summer night and just hang out with a piece of paper, soda, wine, and beer. Just have a good time with them and watch the ideas flow. Some of them probably played games like this when they were kids as well, so thinking of ideas may come naturally to them. Try to get everyone involved doing at least SOMEthing, if it’s clear that you are to be the leader of the endeavor.

If it works and the parents and kids have fun, do it again. Use the entire neighborhood and make it seem like a sprawling landscape of mystery for your children. They’ll love it!

Scavenger Hunt Clues

When I think of scavenger hunts, I think of the “old school” ones that you just don’t see much of anymore. Anyone remember when a neighborhood boy or girl would come to your door – usually a little out of breath – and ask you for a cup of flour? And boy, did they need it in a hurry! You see, winning a scavenger hunt in our neighborhood was a pretty big deal. And even today – if done well – I believe scavenger hunts can be a wonderful tool for getting to know your neighbors and educating your children. And most importantly, FUN!

I’d like to share what I feel have been a couple fantastic clues over the years.

Pictures: Ask the kids to get a snapshot of someone dressed in World War II garb. World War II is all but forgotten in many circles. All politics aside, it was a major event in our history – in the world’s history – so why not teach something here? It could stimulate great conversation with the children, and who knows: maybe the little old lady who feels alone and isolated will get a visitor today?

Cassette tapes/8-tracks: We all remember these. In fact, it wasn’t that long ago that record companies still produced cassettes. But how many six-year-olds have a “clue” what they are? All they need to do is track down ONE. And I’ll bet it’s harder than some of us may think. Again, there’s some good conversation to be had about these, a learning experience for the kids, and it gives us a chance to reminisce a little.

That’s all for now! Thanks for reading.

So there you have the first in what is to be many stories regarding scavenger hunts, their clues, and great ideas. Thanks for visiting, and we hope to see you back in our community soon!

Still dishing out the same old party themes for your kids? How about the “tween” in the family? For the next birthday, make the party most memorable for your 12-year-old. These party ideas will set you apart as the coolest mom and dad in the block.

Party Uppers

Children ages 9 to 12 are at an awkward age, but give them a fun party and they’ll lap it up. Since they are not official teenagers and no longer the little ones, giving them a party they can enjoy can tax your imagination and stamina. These tween party ideas will give your tween star status in the neighborhood.

Let the tween in you help you along these party ideas. If you’ve decided to host a Safari Sleepover, schedule it on a Friday night. The timing is right. The kids can catch some extra zzzs after a night of fun. But be sure to announce that the pick-up time for the kids is at 10 the following day.

An outdoor sleepover is a good idea, but for the kids’ safety, have the tents installed indoors. Put up a hotdog and harshmallow grill, but don’t forget to add a salad and animal-shaped sandwiches. Fill GI canteens with juice and distribute them among the guests. Let them whoop it up in the lawn – dancing and organized games – until you announce that it’s bedtime. Girls should be separated from boys if it’s a mixed party.

A tween party idea young girls enjoy is the “pajama dress-up” party. The girls can bring along their blings. Let them have a go at putting up makeup and do other girly things they all want to do – fix their hair, paint their nail with fun colors, and do a pajama fashion show. Of course, expect the girls to stay up late watching videos, swapping ghost stories, and doing just about anything. Girls are wont to do that when they are together.

If your tween loves to rock, she or he will be inviting like-minded friends. Host a rock party they won’t forget. A ’70s disco-themed party is a novel experience for the young ones. Clear the living room, install a disco globe, and get dance music they’ll rock to. To make it more authentic, hire a neighborhood DJ who can do the spinning. Be sure to keep a bottomless supply of the kids’ favorite eats, drinks, and munchies.

A beach party theme is also a welcome idea, whether you have a pool or not. Decorate the party venue with shell wired garlands, paper balls, mock palm trees, and surfboards. Prepare more than a dozen rubber slippers. Use colorful fish platters to serve your beach fare. Ask the guests to come in their favorite beach bum attire. If you have a pool, make sure that a lifeguard is around to watch over the kids.

Before the Party

Schedule the party on a weekend before the actual birthday. Get invitations to go with the party theme. A pillow invitation for a sleep over, a papier mache conch shell for the beach party, and a map invitation for the safari or treasure hunt party. Shop for party favors and ask your tween for the type of music he or she wants for the party. To make your shopping a convenient jaunt, have your money organized in one of those money clip wallets, and bring along the list of things you must buy for the party.

Call up the parents and ask for any restrictions on movies to watch and any food allergies to avoid potential problems. To help you out, ask the neighbors’ tweens to come over. They’ll enjoy the party too. If you have smaller kids, let them have a guest or two so they won’t feel left out of the fun.

Make your party planning more convenient by keeping cash in a magnetic money clip and storing your party favor suppliers’ contact cards in personalized business card holders. Don’t forget to give away unique gift baskets as tokens. Visit ExecutiveGiftShoppe.com today.

In many communities, Halloween is not only for children’s trick-or-treating, or adults having parties, it is also a time when youth tear their neighborhoods apart and wreak general havoc, and refer to it as “fun.” If you have teenagers– or if you happen to be one– there are ways in which youth who are too old for door-to-door candy-seeking can have a good time on this holiday without being destructive, and without putting themselves or others in danger with unsafe group driving or roaming around in a dark neighborhood.

The standard alcohol-free Halloween party, with reliable supervision and a common sense time limit, is an answer. The very thought of gathering a dozen or more teens in one home may sound like a nightmare to the parents and boring to the youth; but with careful planning, it need not reach either group’s worries! A good time can be had by the teenagers; and it is entirely possible that the chaperones in charge will find themselves enjoying the festivities also.

When planning a youth-oriented Halloween party, it is a good idea to solicit some input from the teens themselves. They are quite likely to have very clear ideas about what types of music and other entertainment is the most suitable; and, in the absence of anything that is truly objectionable, they will appreciate having the leeway to make these types of decisions.

Likewise, the Halloween party will be more of a “hit” for the teens if they can select the types of refreshments that they prefer. The best idea is to have enough variety so that there is something which all of the guests will enjoy.

When you are planning this type of party, it is essential to set some basic rules beforehand, and for all of the guests to be aware of them. While most parents would agree that it is only common sense that no alcohol or drugs be allowed, it is best to make this policy clear to the teens, and also let the other parents know about it.

Planning a party that will proceed and end smoothly also means setting a time limit. It is a good idea to know in advance that all of the guests will have a way to get home, whether that means being picked up by their parents or being dropped off at home by you or someone else.

To make the Halloween party even more memorable, you can prepare gift baskets in advance, so that each guest will have something to take home. Most teenagers are as fond of candy and other such treats as young children are, and giving them well-stocked goodie baskets will lead them to not need to pester their younger siblings for Halloween candy afterward.

Hosting a Halloween party for teens does not have to be a nightmare for the parent, nor a dull evening for the youth; all it takes is some good planning and cooperation between both generations for everyone to have an enjoyable Halloween night.

These Halloween safety tips were brought to you by One Source Gift Baskets [http://www.onesourcegiftbaskets.com]. Gift baskets [http://www.onesourcegiftbaskets.com] are a safe alternative to give someone for Halloween instead of candy.

What’s not to love about water parks? The rides, the fun, the food, the sun, the expense… Okay, so maybe there are a couple of things not to love about water parks, like the outlandish expense to get in and the fact that a plain hot dog and a small drink cost $6.95 apiece.

Why not try your hand at bringing the entertainment to your own backyard this summer? Granted, you may not be able to get a wave pool going through your yard, but with a little creativity you can have a backyard party that’s both exciting and memorable, and considerably easier on your wallet.

Planning an water park party

Party preparation should start at least a month in advance, if not more so. This is so you have plenty of time to shop for supplies, both in-store and online, and allows for delivery time for any items that you have to order. It also gives you time to get a guest list together and get them to RSVP.

For activities, people can get creative enough with a water hose and a sprinkler. Add a couple of wading pools, a Slip-n-Slide, and a cache of water balloons and water guns, and you’ve got a miniature water park in your own yard. Kids can run rampant, splash around, and have water fights without having to spend most of their time waiting in line for rides or getting yelled at to slow down.

Also, if you’re really concerned about recreating the atmosphere, popcorn and cotton candy machines can add flair to your backyard party. Not only do they make fresh water park food right there in your own home, but popcorn and cotton candy machines can be reused for event after event, whether it’s a neighborhood block party, family reunion, church gathering or birthday party.

Make memories that will last a lifetime

It may seem like a daunting task, but it’s certainly not impossible. A backyard water park party can provide fun for the whole family and neighborhood, if just for the day. Besides, how many kids will be able to say that their parents created a backyard water park?
